Love love love this toy! It's perfect for my 18-month-old. I love that the rings are made of wood, so they're durable. The rings can go on in any order, which is fun for my toddler. The only thing that matters about the order is that the red ball goes on top. Once the ball is on, the top of the stick is inaccessible, so no more rings can go on. When my toddler puts the ball on prematurely, it's fun to watch her problem solve to figure out how to get the rest of the rings on. She also uses problem solving when she wants to pick up the whole toy. She used to try to carry it by the rings, but that obviously doesn't work; they slide right off the top. She's learned by herself to carry it by the base. It's fun for her to play with it by herself and to play with it with me.

My little one is 8 months old and I gave him just the bigger bottom circles to play with. He was tapping them together, feeling the shape, hearing how it sounds on different things. The hole in the middle is great for him to grab for. We’ll hold off on the stacking until he’s like 2 or 3. Free play is the best with stuff like this! And it’s durable and sustainable

I bought this for my sons first birthday not really expecting him to figure it out right away but he totally gets it! He has trouble with the bigger rings but he can hold the smaller ones easily and slide them right on. Sometimes he struggles because the base tips and I have to hold it steady for him. And sometimes he uses the base/pole as a weapon and throws it so you gotta watch out for that. But even though it's recommended for ages 18 months and up, I think it's appropriate for a one year old. It's good quality and I look forward to this toy growing with my son and being used for years to come.

my 8 month old baby loves it! I haven’t had to rotate this toy out because he’s interested to play with it everyday.
