    Love this educational game! My son loves counting & weighing the monkeys. It has 4 levels of learning. The easier levels he can play by himself. Independent play-bonus! Good quality. Make sure you level the scale first before play. There is a little circle right in the middle you adjust to level scale. I used a coin to help me turn it so it was in the middle. Don’t worry this is not complicated! Little monkeys are so cute too. Great purchase.

    I didn’t read the instructions but I opened up the game (gift for my granddaughter) and checked it out. It’s already put together & you just set the plates on the scales. The part I love is that they are weighed and if you set a 3, 2 and 1 on the left scale and a 6 on the right scale it will balance. I love this and it helps you teach greater than, less than And equal. This helps with all math!! It’s the same same with the monkies. You can look at the cards exp: 6 + 3 and physically show them with the monkies or the numbers. Like I said I didn’t read the instructions. This is what I saw just checking it out! I think it’s great learning game.

    This Toy-Math game is so great. It provides hands on understanding of addition and subtraction. The little monkeys make for a fun start, the weighted numbers equals the equivalent number of monkeys. This "Toy" helps children understand numbers and quantity. This toy is a very useful and fun way to begin understanding of numbers and math. The quality of this teaching toy is good. It is fun for both the parent and child. You must supervise your Childs play, the monkeys could be a choking hazard, but again this is a Learning Toy. I would highly recommend this for teaching numbers and their equivalents, it makes it fun to learn.

    I love everything about this game. I got it for my 5 year old, but even my 11, 9, and 2 year olds love playing with it. The quality of each piece is made very well. I love the make of the monkeys and the numbers. It was a really well thought out game. My 5 year old will sit and play with it on his own coming up with new number combinations. It’s really amazing.

    The first item I recieved was defective so I contacted the seller. Got a response and they were so nice to send me a new one. I’ve had this toy for more than 2 months now and it’s really durable. The only thing that is not so durable are the cards. They are flimsy and will easily rip in the hands of young kids. That being said, the actual toy, scale, tiny monkeys and numbers are durable. I work with children who have intellectual disabilities and help with their behaviors. Some of these behaviors include hitting themselves with objects, and hitting things around them. So these little monkey toys have experienced its fair share of throws and bangs across the room. It has not broken and it’s been great to not have to buy a new one.

    I purchased this for my preschool class. The kids really enjoy it and there are so many ways to play with it. When teaching it is important to have things that can apply to many different learning abilities and styles. This game allows children to learn no matter where they are at with their early math skills. Fabulous.

    I used this monkey balance for number exploration with 5 to 7 year olds. The weighted numbers are perfect for the children to relate the number and amount. They also were finding sets inside numbers and seeing relationships (6 is 4 and 2). I love how the weighted numbers make it easy to extend to addition and subtraction. I only wish there were more monkeys and numbers so we could explore doubles and numbers beyond 19. As it is, I will need to get a few more sets so kids asking questions can explore those ideas. It'd be nice if I was able to order monkeys and numbers separate to grow with children's ideas. The children enjoy the game cards as well and are creating their own. Thanks for a well-designed and thoughtful product.
